Ravi Anne
Ravi founded Sidetrack Films in early 2005 with a vision to create a company that produces relevant content, breaks new talent, and changes the landscape of how media can be distributed. Prior to Sidetrack Ravi founded SonicWALL, an Internet security company that went public in 1999. Ravi executive produced his first film, Favela Rising, which went on to win the 2005 IDA Best Documentary prize.
Chris Green
Chris is currently a music director and host of a national music video show on PBS debuting in late 2006. Chris has 20 years experience in the music industry as a producer, tour/stage-manager, venue owner, and radio programmer. He has run a record label and facilitated business agreements for platinum selling artists. Chris is also a nationally recognized expert in Animal Protection Law, serving as Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Animal Law Committee, and on the Board of the National Center for Animal Law. Chris is a N.Y. Attorney and graduate of Harvard Law School.
Noah Khoshbin
Noah has been the lead Producer, Art Director and supervising editor on the ongoing Robert Wilson video portrait series for Rainbow Media/Cablevision. Noah is also an artist/curator and exhibition designer of gallery and museum fine art exhibitions/installations nationally and internationally. Additionally, Noah has been the advising curator of the Watermill Center collection in New York City, a collection containing over 8,000 works of art. Noah was a member of the Austin Film Society and worked on films produced in Austin Texas in the early 1990's. Noah gradated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also did postgraduate work.
Rich Lim
Prior to joining Sidetrack Films, Rich was a founding partner of Film Movement, an innovative distribution company specializing in foreign language, American independent and documentary films. Rich oversaw acquisition and distribution of a slate of critically acclaimed films that included such festival favorites such as Sundance winner Manito and the IFP Spirit Award nominated OT: our town. Rich started in the film industry at Shooting Gallery Films, where as a Creative Executive he shepherded the development of screenplays and book adaptations.
Douglas Matejka
Doug made his first film while in graduate school studying social work at the University of Illinois. After completing two feature-length documentaries, he broke into the industry in New York working on the Sony Screen Gems feature Saving Face starring Joan Chen, ultimately becoming a partner with Scott Macaulay and Robin O'Hara at Forensic Films. He has produced spots for the MTV Store, X-Box, and The Dukes of Hazzard. More recently, he was a producer on MTV's Damage Control, produced the 35mm award-winning short film Donny & Clyde, and coordinated Ed Burns' The Groomsmen, starring Brittany Murphy, John Leguizamo, and Jay Mohr.
Jared Moshé
Jared previously worked at the Film Sales Company where he was closely involved in the domestic and international sale of over seventy-five films including My Architect; CSA and Oscar Winner Born Into Brothels. He is an Associate Producer on Destricted directed by Larry Clark, Matthew Barney, Gasper Noe, which premiered in official selection at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. He previously worked in development with Robert Downey, Sr. and at Magnet Entertainment during the productions of The Truth About Charlie and Adaptation. He graduated from Amherst College with a degree in English and a concentration in film.
Matthew Shattuck
Prior to Sidetrack, Matthew was an independent producer working on commercial, theatre and art installation projects worldwide, most recently Robert Wilson's Video Portrait series for Rainbow Media/Cablevision. Before that Matthew worked for technology consulting firms Blast Radius and The Castle Group, where he managed projects for Fortune 1000 companies. Matthew graduated from Duke University where he studied International Affairs and History. He also studied at the Center for Documentary Studies in Durham, North Carolina and the Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution Studies in The Hague, Netherlands.
Sidetrack Films is an independent production and financing company dedicated to producing theatrical feature films. Founded with a belief in supporting emerging talent and unique perspectives, Sidetrack looks to work with compelling storytellers who want to entertain, inspire, and provoke.
